The area that I hunt is located approximately 50 miles west of Roswell, New Mexico, in the foothills off the east end of the Capitan Mountain bordering the famous Lincoln National Forest (Birthplace of Smokey Bear and Home of "Billy the Kid"). I have control of about 100,000 acres of private land to choose from. All of our hunts are conducted behind locked gates. Some leases have heated barns to stay in during the hunt. Others have good camp areas with water and electricity if you prefer to bring your own rig. Whether you purchase a fully guided hunt or an unguided hunt, I am personally in the hunt area at all times to try to ensure that you have an enjoyable and successful hunt. We have a variety of hunts available to custom fit your needs as follows:

Unguided: (for the do it yourselfer)

»»»»»	Once at the camping area, we will give your party a complete orientation of your ranch.
»»»»»	We will give each hunter a map of the hunting area.
»»»»»	One of my guides or I will check on your party every couple of days to give you any helpful hints we can.

^{Aoudad Sheep} Season: 2/1/09 - 3/15/09 (pick any 5-day period) We are now offering aoudad sheep hunts. This is a very physical hunt! You won't find these guys standing along the road. The hunt will be conducted on a large ranch under fair-chase conditions (these are not pen-raised sheep) using the spot and stalk method. This is very rough country and the hunt will be conducted on foot; therefore, good physical condition is a necessity for this hunt. The price of this hunt is $1,250.00 unguided or $2,250.00 fully guided and outfitted. Non-resident license fee is $360.00 (no drawing). Call me for details!


Bow Hunts Mule Deer The only Deer Bow Hunt we offer is January 1, 2009 through January 15, 2009 (pick any five days). The January hunt is an excellent hunt for the TROPHY minded bow hunter. Our deer are still rutting and the big boys come out of the woodwork for their once-a-year romp in the hay!
