Chi Alpha is our major focal
point in our student ministry. Every Sunday evening, from 6:00
- 7:30 p.m. our 6th through 12th graders celebrate with laughter,
friendship, music, and instruction from God's word. We are attempting
to shatter the stereotypes that church is boring and Christianity
isn't relevant to your life. Our student-led praise team, through
dramas and silly videos, send a message that is intended to move
young people toward greater maturity in their relationship with
Christ.
Youth Ministry Teams
Any student can join a ministry team at anytime. Each team is overseen by a ministry team leader. Some of the ministry teams, meet on a weekly basis, while others meet whenever they need to prepare for an event or task. These teams offer a fun and easy way to get students involved. Fun and Fellowship
This activity provides an opportunity for our young people to take a short "time out" in their week to meet with other Christians for some fun and fellowship. For an hour we talk, play, and pray. 6th through 12th graders meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. This activity is scheduled for early evening so that students are not out too late on a school night.
