First United Methodist Church offers Christian education for all ages, primarily on Sunday mornings. We use a variety of Bible based curricula for all ages. We believe the Bible teaches us about the character of God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and about his saving plan through Jesus Christ, His Son.

OTHER OPPORTUNITIES

Breakaway Bible Studies

Breakaway Bible studies are designed to help all youth spend time studying the scripture, growing with each other, and learning to pray with and for each other.

Youth Ministry Teams

Any student can join a ministry team at anytime. Each team is overseen by a ministry team leader. Some of the ministry teams, such as Choir, meet on a weekly basis (Sunday afternoon), while others meet whenever they need to prepare for an event or task. These teams offer a fun and easy way to get students involved. (See Youth Ministry page)
